In her novel Dr. Victor Frankenstein lived in Ingolstadt to study medicine. He wanted to create artificial live. Obsessed of his idea he finally succeeds in Ingolstadt in arousing “his” creature to the live. Since 1995 Dr. Frankenstein could be seen wandering around the city centre, in companion of some remarkable and horrible characters. Mor than 40.000 visitors joined the ghost walk led by the Doctor. Around 20 public tours are available during the year (May - October), these public tours are all in German language but groups can ask for an extra tour in English.
